BB239 was built in 1991 at the Lowestoft Boat Building College using double diagonal mahogany with epoxy. She was built to a similar design to a McLachlan class lifeboat and operated as a boarding boat at Humber RNLI lifeboat station. She is immensely strong, a very capable sea boat and would make a very good workboat. She has been recently painted with a two pack paint system and had the original Mariner 50hp outboards removed and replaced with more modern versions.
