Lightship 93 is one of the most iconic vessels currently in London and is now for sale through Boatshed London.
The historical vessel was built in 1938 in riveted steel, she is 134 feet long (just over 40 meters) with a beam of 25 feet. Her spectacular lighthouse tower rises 15 metres above the level of the water. The ship retired from lighthouse service in 2004 and was sympathetically restored to operate as an events venue, film location and photographic studio. She has hosted many famous names from the music, fashion and acting world.
The vessel could continue to operate as a live/wor...

Knowing where to start with a special and historic vessel is always tough.
Here we have a rare Dutch steel tug from 1938. She was built by Voorwaarts for use in the Netherlands and is a registered Dutch historic ship.
She is not your average boat and is lavished in history that includes being used by the allies in the early days of World War II before being taken over for a time and operated by the German Kriegsmarine to service u-boats! Yes she is very special and has a long and fully documented history which you can look up online.
The current owner, it ha...

The She 33 is exceptionally easy on the eye and they really seem to have retained their lovely modern looks and lines, despite their classical heritage!
This example looks to have been well loved - she seems in nice shape - lovely and clean and tidy - and she comes with a complete set of extremely recent canvas and sails to help her along - great, when one considers that these boats are sought-after for their legendary performance potential.
Down below, she seems very tidy, with a practical layout and lots of sturdy and traditional materials - she really does retain that lovely vintage p...

The Fairey story began in aviation in 1915 in Southampton, England. Fairey Marine followed in 1946, initially to make use of the spare building shed capacity after wartime production ceased. Having perfected the hot moulding techniques on aircraft they turned to boats and the rest is history! The Fairey Owners Club documents it far better than I can!
The Fairey Huntsman 31 was their final design to use the hot moulded construction method. The first was built in 1967 and there were 32 hulls produced by Fairey in Southampton and then fitted out by various yards. This is hull number 28, moulde...

This was a very tidy example of the wonderful Fairline Holiday Sports Cruiser when sold to the current owners. However, it has not been used for well over a year and now is in need of some recommissioning which uas just been done june 2026. So a gentle clean inside should bring her back to her former glory.
These boats are so much fun and so versatile for their diminutive 23 foot size. They offer a lot of space with not an inch wasted, plus the solid Fairline build quality you would expect.
These boats can sleep 4 people in comfort and have everything you would need to cruise the ...
