Built by Charles Hill in 1927 this former grain barge is reluctantly being sold. 103ft x just less than 22ft makes her an ideal size to turn her into a large family home and/or business. She has already had a conversion started, the hold being cleaned out, albeit a bit of scrap in her, which could be lifted out by the boatyard where she is currently at. She has had a lot of money already spent on her including plating to her hull and deck. She has a Gardner 6LXB in excellent condition, Stainless steel shaft, 30” bronze propeller. 280 litre tanks. She has had a large Trawler wheelhouse fitted and has wheel and throttle fitted, ample of space. Most of the hard work has already been done; she would just need to be fitted out to your design. She does still need some ballast but the boatyard could help with that. If you didn’t want to stay in the area there is a mooring available for her with a cheap lease of just under 12 years in North Devon, but she would need ballast to make that journey. Survey Jan 2019 with recommendations virtually completed. This one really does need to be seen to be appreciated and to see the potential.
