LOCHIN MARINE INTERNATIONAL LTD (incorporating Simon Thomas Yachts Sales) design and build fast offshore craft up to 20m in length. Operating from our boatyard premises in Newhaven the Company also offers full boat yard services including moorings and storage of vessels up to 14m with undercover facilities for the repair and maintenance of craft using time served shipwrights and engineers.
A brokerage service is available with specialist knowledge of 'fast offshore' vessels both in the commercial and leisure sector.
Our long association with builders GOODCHILD MARINE SERVICES LTD of Great Yarmouth enables us to design and build vessels up to 20m with a large portfolio of vessels from semi-displacement fast patrol and pilot launches to 'state of the art' catamarans all constructed in-house by highly skilled staff.

The 15m 'Iceni Spirit' was constructed by Southboats Special Projects (March 2009) as a crew/cargo transfer vessel (capacity 12 + 2 crew + 5000kg cargo) to wind farms around the UK coastline. The Aquabell has long since been acknowledged as a serious sea going vessel used by many professional seafarers as well as many leisure applications. 'Sagacious' a Camper and Nicholson 345 Cruiser / Racer designed by Ron Holland in the late 1970's and manufactured between 1979 and 1980. Three C& N 345's were entered into the 1979 Fastnet and all 3 stood up to the extreme conditions. Boat No. 07 of 25 built and still sailing with her original given name. This 1955 Sussex One Design long keeled sloop was constructed by Harry Feltham of Fareham UK to designs by John E Powell. The same yard built the Nordic Folkboat 'Jester' for 'Blondie Haslar' which famously competed in several OSTAR transatlantic races.
