The barge is a historic boat, originally built in 1898 by DREWS HOOGEZAND as a working vessel. This lovely passenger vessel and hero ship has had a glorious past, it has spent most its life entertaining passengers navigating the inland waterways and in particular the River Thames, and was part of Project Dynamo which rescued men from the beaches during the WWII evacuation from Dunkirk.
