This is a 195-foot ice strengthened ship built in 1972 and maintained as a survey research vessel. The vessel has an ice strengthened, molded steel hull. Machinery selection and configuration has been chosen for dependability, station keeping and economical operation. It has Dynamic Positioning, USBL Positioning Systems and two A-Frames.
