Bush Baby is a very good example of the classic South Coast One Design.
Designed by Charles Nicholson and built at Burnes of Bosham in 1961, in our ownership over the last 5 years she has been well maintained, with specialist work by Nick Gates of Emsworth.
As to be expected with a SCOD, she sails very well for her size, and never fails to turn heads and attract compliments wherever we go.
Improvements include:
* New bunk cushions 2015
* New standing rigging 2017
* New Elvstrom mainsail and genoa 2019
* New headsail furler 2019
* Exterior varnish professionally renewed 2020
* Deck repainted 2020
* New detachable Spinlock throttle
She has been cruised by us regularly around the Solent, and is a joy to sail.
A very sound boat which only needs normal winter maintenance in terms of paint, varnish and antifoul.
