Built by Richard Dunstan’s of Thorne in 1943 as T.I.D. 43 for the Ministry of War Transport to support D Day invasion preparations. Originally a 220 h.p coal fired steamer , converted to 280 h.p. Blackstone diesel propulsion in 1953 All welded steel hull believed to be in good condition having been dry docked in 2016. Hard chine construction with a flat bottom that takes the ground well and as all platework contains no double bends is easy to repair should that be required. She carries full commercial certification for use in Mersey Docks and Manchester Ship Canal and is still in service on the Mersey. Very well equipped with a reliable Lister Blackstone main engine, a approx., 8 kva 240 volt Kabota generator, Deutz engine air compressor for initial main engine starting, Lister engine driving a hydraulic pump driving a hiab deck crane and a Deutz powered welding set. Vessels recently rewired both in 240 and 24 volt systems. After cabin with seating and galley pressure water system, fridge and cooker. Forward cabin , four bunks, table and seating, electrically heated. Shower, wash basin and macerator toilet in forward cabin deck house. Wheelhouse equipped with hydraulic steering, three VHF’s and GPS. Hydraulic anchor winch. 74 feet x 17’ x 7’4”.

The main engine is a Lister Blackstone EVR6 of 280 HP.
the main generator engine is a Kubota 3 cylinder of 15Kva
the auxilliary engine driving the air compressor is a Deutz 3 cylinder of 7 Kva
the Hiab unit is driven by a single cylinder Lister diesel*
The welding generator is powered by a 3 cylinder Kubota diesel.*
Total bunker capacity is 14 tons - all engines running off the day service tank - with the exception of those marked with a * - which have their own self contained fuel tank. The owners estimate the Lister Blackstone engine uses about 20 litres of fuel per hour cruising at normal full ahead of 600 rpm. With the 240 volt generator running it will be a bit more.
