An ideal opportunity to obtain a traditional estuary / sea passenger vessel that is in regular usage.
Currently used off a beach for viewing the seals etc. It has a MCA certificate class 6 and licensed for 49 passengers and 2 crew. This vessel has been with the current owners for 44 years. Its lifted and inspected every year and during the winter season it undergoes a major overhaul to keep to the standard expected of a classic wooden vessel. Fully equipped for safety and usage offshore.

This Perkins 6354 aspirated is maintained regular by a marine engineer. 2016 the diesel injectors and the pump were replaced.
2017 the engine as removed , stripped down and had a major overhaul.
2019 a new shaft plus the deep sea seal and cutlass bearings were replaced.
Approximately 400 hours usage per season.
120 hp engine with a direct drive gear box that turns a 3 bladed propeller.
Batteries x 2 (12 volt) approximately 3 years old.
A twin masted with a mizzen. The hull is a wood carvel construction of Lark on Oak. The keel is protected on the bows by GRP along with a steel shoe to the skeg to allow beach berthing. The fore deck is of a strong construction to allow passengers to board and disembark easily with the aid of the pulpit and steps down to the seating area.Spray dodgers are fitted around the gunwales to protect the passengers.
The freeboard at the lowest point is 2ft 7inchs. Below the seating it is foam filled for buoyancy and safety requirements.
