Unique opportunity to purchase a quality built Barry Hawkins 60ft steel traditional Northwich Trader narrow boat. Due to retirement this beautiful boat is available, previously used for high end afternoon tea party cruises, but could be used for any trader purpose, or the best family day trip party boat or traditional boat for private use (we’ve used it that way too). Currently licensed for up to 12 passengers but easily convertible to leisure licence.

Built 2006 with 3 pages of high specification build standards which includes Recreational Craft Directive 94/25/EC Declaration of Conformity from the manufacturer Barry Hawkins Ltd & a history file.

One of the best painted traditional back cabins (it truely is beautiful) with boatmans stove, Lister JP2 has been modernised which has a key start so it is a vintage engine which is so easy to operate. It has a hydraulic gearbox and the engine is regularly serviced. There is also a bow thruster.

The front cabin has a large marble topped kitchen with gas cooker/oven (gas safe certificate May 2024) and a large table seating up to 12. The bathroom at the front has a cassette toilet.

The cabin was repainted Nov 2023 and blacked with 2 pack epoxy May 2024. Booked in for blacking.

Duke currently holds a commercial licence for up to 12 passengers so includes 12 passenger life jacket and all safety equipment for commercial boat safety licence.
A solid boat with a 15mm base plate. This boat is definitely worth viewing. A beautiful eye-catching, quality boat that is well built to high specifications.
