built 1976 as a purse seiner. The vessel has been laid up for several years and has been stripped of most equipment but has still other related equipment onboard. The main engine, aux's bow, stern thrusters, winches, power packs are still fitted. The vessel is in a very untidy state and sad appearance, the main engine and other machinary we have not heard running but the hull is very well built and decks are solid , ideal foundation for a re-build. Will accept sensible offers on a as where is basis.

This vessel is one of two almost identical vessels being offered, the other is 18.30 metres Built by MG Kailis Group in their own ship yards and used and maintained by them since new, this 17.75 metre steel trawler is in good condition and is available immediately. She has been constantly upgraded to be very effective as a modern prawn trawler and has been averaging 80-120,000kg per season. The hull will pass any test with 8mm thick construction. Above deck gunwhales are pure stainless steel construction to eliminate rust and maintenance problems. This vessel towed 2 x 7.5 fathom nets or 4 x 4.5 fathom nets. Has four fuel tanks totalling 18,000 litres and two water tanks totalling 2,840 litres. Powered by a Cat 3406B with a Twin Disc MG513 gearbox and has a 60 KVA genset. Has 5 berths, shower and toilet and a decent galley with stove/oven freezer and a fridge. We have a comprehensive 15 page independant survey report and a full inventory for this vessel, just telephone or email us to receive.
