180 PASSENGER VESSEL – MCA CLASS 6 - Wright International Ltd is delighted to be given the rare opportunity of selling not only a Class 6 vessel but a true legend in its own lifetime. This is one of the most famous of the “Dunkirk Little Ships” as it was solely responsible for rescuing no less than 900 soldiers during World War 2. It was built in Great Yarmouth in 1935 and was rebuilt in 2007 as you will see below. This ship is powered by the ever reliable and most fuel efficient twin Gardner 6LX engines allowing this vessel to operate for long periods before refuelling. With the cost of fuel constantly rising this would be a major asset to any company.

The vessel was converted in 1992 to touring theatre ship and has toured extensively around the coast of the UK, from the Shetlands to the Channel Isles.
The former car deck has been covered by a removable canopy and 100mm insulation on top of a purpose built steel gantry, creating a large auditorium for performances. The total area is 175 sq m and holds up to 120 seated guests in 11 rows of fixed raked benches, which can be removed to create a larger space. This area can be used for a very wide range of purposes including theatre performance, live music, dancing, film shows etc.
