Built: 1971, A/S Sandnessjoen Slip & Mek. Verksted, Norway. Hull no: 24.
Material: Steel, 7.5-10mm with 50mm frame distance.
Length: 37.50 meters overall (lbp: 33.50 m).
Beam: 8.54 meters.
Draft: 2.74 meters (3.70 m moulded).
The vessel was converted in 1992 to touring theatre ship and has toured extensively around the coast of the UK, from the Shetlands to the Channel Isles.
The former car deck has been covered by a removable canopy and 100mm insulation on top of a purpose built steel gantry, creating a large auditorium for performances. The total area is 175 sq m and holds up to 120 seated guests in 11 rows of fixed raked benches, which can be removed to create a larger space. This area can be used for a very wide range of purposes including theatre performance, live music, dancing, film shows etc.
