Wade Stone; Built by John Harker Shipyards Knottingley Yorks in 1969.
Just completed a full re-fit of hull machinery and electrics and fully repainted.
Originally built to carry 300 ton of oil on the River Thames to class 1A. Extended to carry up to 450 ton in 1987 now Class 9A.
Propulsion by a 8 cyl 240 hp Gardner Diesel L3B (fully reconditioned in 2008), direct coupled to a Stoddert and Pitt 200 ton p/h pump coupled to all tanks with 8’’ discharger line. No 1 Auxiliary Gardner 36hp 3cyl 20kw generator (fully reconditioned 2009) with a close coupled 60ton p/h ballast pump. No 2 Auxiliary with 24hp Gardner 2cyl 12kw 110v generator driving the Windlass pump.
Accommodation: Consists of two twin bunk cabins and with a saloon and heads aft with store and workshop in the folkshole.

142’ welded steel non-propelled barge with a 30” diameter dredge pump. Designed by Thomas T. Lunde N.A. Endorsed for Coastwise operation. US registered. All steel Barge used as a floating Booster Pump Station and was utilized to increase the spoils disposal radius of the main dredge. This Barge has been used in fresh water for many years and maintained by the Government, although it has been idle for some time. It could be used for many different purposes and represents a major opportunity for serious maritime related construction projects. 2 x Aux. Electrical Power Units. | SELF PROPELLED SPLIT HOPPER BARGE OF 450 m3,
- Just in May vessel passed through dry-docking (unscheduled – before dredging season) as well as extensive repairs. Total investment to repairs was Euro 250,000
- Hopper seal was renewed
- All “Z” drives were completely overhauled (two installed plus one spare )
- Two diesel generators were completely overhauled (as new)
- Electrical generators were overhauled
- Barge opening Hydraulic system was completely overhauled ( 4 main jacks plus one spare – as new)
- Windlass completely overhauled including electrical motor
- Storage rooms, all machinery spaces are completely cleaned and painted, rearranged, shelving system is build – everything looks like new.
- All electrical installations were checked and are in perfect condition. New 24 Volt automatic system is installed. Radio and Navigational equipment were serviced and in excellent condition
- All decks accommodation were completely overhauled (scaled and painted 100%)
- Absolutely all equipment on the barge in excellent working condition ready for work immediately.
