The Sisu lobster boats are known for being built solid and holding steady in rough water -- traits lobstermen need.
While built to haul in lobster traps in choppy waters, the Sisu can also function as a recreational boat. Its open design provides plenty of room in the interior.
The owner had this one built in 1982 by Sisu Boat Inc. in Dover, New Hampshire and he has been the boat's only owner. Three ship's carpenters produced the boat in three weeks after the company's architect designed it.

An excellent work boat. Seriously well built in 1988 by Degroot Engineering. All running gear was replaced in November 2006 including engine, prop and shaft. Main eengine, Scania D112 EMS S6TDE has only 2700 hrs on her. Full electronic controls incuding you stick steering from 3 stations. In 3B survey, with a good electronics package, this boat is ready for immediate work.
