This specification is intended to give details of a 23m
Passenger Catamaran and it is to be read in conjunction
with the General Arrangement drawing...
Although this specification is fairly comprehensive there
are areas where details are not described in full. In these
areas everything is to be assumed to be to good
shipbuilding practice and of high quality.
The vessel is to be completed in every respect including
materials and equipment not specifically mentioned in this
specification but which are required to complete the
vessel ready for sea.

The maximum speed of the vessel in the full load
passenger condition, with the engines developing their
maximum power, will be 11/12 knots.
This is for information only and the builders will not be
responsible for the speed of the vessel other than in
terms of keeping the structure to the designed weight,
and slipping the vessel in order that the propellers can be
changed as required to achieve optimum performance.

The hulls of the vessel will be constructed of steel and will
be of a double chine form.
The main deck is flat and level up to the forward end of
the passenger area and then it steps up to a higher level,
there is no camber on the deck.
The hulls will be joined by two main beam structures and
all the main deck structure will be of steel.
