Stafford was originally built in 1898 for the Fellows,Morton and Clayton fleet. It was rebuilt by Yarwoods in 1938 and renovated and converted by Narrowcraft in 2008. It was a challenge our skilled craftsmen rose to admirably, blending the latest technology and methods with traditional looks and character.Starting with cutting out all rotten sections of the hull and replating, to the final twirl of the signwriters brush Stafford is now one of the finest narrowboats on the waterways.
